Hello World!
I am an Information Architect and a Company of One now. For over 18 years, I’ve worked as a software engineer, architect, subject matter expert, and a five-time Sitecore MVP with various clients and consulting firms. Today, I’m testing the waters as a one-person company—because I can, and I think it’s a good idea.
Why am I Starting This (yet another blog site)?
I’ve written technical blogs for a while, but to most people, they might seem niche and boring. Going forward, I want to write in a more human tone and cover topics beyond my previous technical scope. I like the idea of learning in public, so that’s also why I am writing this blog. I want to share the insights I wish I had known earlier, something I myself would find interesting and useful before.
Who Is This For?
Everyone is welcome. However, I envision this blog as especially valuable for mid-career software professionals navigating a rapidly changing IT landscape—those looking to integrate AI into their workflows and rethink how they build software products.
The Future Seems Scary, But Fun
The future belongs to those who can just do things. AI is here to change everything. Like many others, I initially felt scared (yes, it’s going to replace some jobs—but it will also create new opportunities). I used to spend countless hours writing and debugging code; now, AI tools and agents handle much of that work, allowing us to focus on innovation and making things happen.
But even the best AI Is unable To Solve the majority of coding problems right now, so there’s a place for us, humans, still, but we’ll do vety well if we leverage AI in prerty much every aspect of our work.
With AI, we can create software products and services in days or even hours—not years or months as before. This shift removes hesitation when acting on ideas, enabling us to pursue many projects simultaneously instead of just one or a few.
What’s Next
I’ll keep posting blogs on this website a couple of times a month—content that I would personally find useful and interesting to read.
Why Work With Me?
In traditional consulting firms, project success frequently relies heavily on one highly experienced, driven, and versatile individual who takes responsibility for multiple critical roles, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. This is the role I’ve been playing throughout my years of consulting engagements.
Now, with a “little bit of help” from AI, I deliver projects efficiently, cost-effectively, and customized to your specific needs, without the overhead of larger consulting firms.
